1989 4x4 ranger xlt 2.9 auto trans. Runs rich ,no codes found, test show everything okay. Any ideas where to start to correct this problem. Thanks
 
check fuel pressure and ignition timing. check O2 sensors if they haven't be replaced in the past 60k.
