Will the 83-86, and the 87-97 dropped I-Beams fit either frame. I’ve got a older truck but I know where a newer body style set of I-Beams and spindles are will the newer style fit my older truck?

JD welcome to TRS.

As for your Q - I do not think they will. When I was researching mine they were always listed as 93 - 97 and the older ones had different part numbers. But you could always get out the torch and a welder and make em work - LOL

Good Luck

the correct years are 83-88, and 89-97.. Technically they will bolt on, its the knuckles that are different, they use a different balljoint design.

So as long as you have the right knuckles and calipers you're golden.

I had '83-'88 DJM beams on my truck for nearly a year. They worked just fine. You'll mainly only have to worry about really bad toe when you get the new beams and spindles put on.

Now I'm running 3" Belltech beams.
