Which vehicle did you use for a 5.0 swap?

Does any one know if I took the 5.0 out of an f150 with a MANUAL transmission if the transmission will fit in my 92 ranger or not? I've tried reading all the technical articles we have here, but I have not seen if the transmission would size up through the floor properly. I was wondering what donor vehicle you used for your 5.0 swap.

I'd put a body lift on if you haven't already. Just going on guesswork, but the shift lever may be too long for the space you have to work with. I remember in my old truck the knob would rattle on the dash in 1, 3 and 5.
