i have a 1994 4 banger with an a4ld automatic tranny that lost overdrive. i want to swap in a 5spd. i found a 1995 4 banger parts truck with a 5spd for 600 bucks. will this work in my 94? i know 95 was a year of change and just wanted to check before i buy. thanks
 
The tranny should work, providing they are both 2.3 4cyl's, and the same drive type as yours (2wd, 4wd). I'm not sure when they came out with the 2.5.

As far as the computer/ electrical goes, somebody else would have to answer. All I know about the 4cyl is they went to OBDII in 95 along with all the other Rangers and Explorers.
