Hey everyone, I read in the Technical Library that you should disconnect the battery and all modules like the ECU..what else should be unplugged/disconnected and be done as to prevent damage from welding to the frame? Thanks in advance

what you said should be enough.

The only way that welding to the frame will damage anything is if you already have a ground problem.
I weld on vehicles nearly everyday without unhooking anything. Just make sure your ground clamp is getting a good connection.
Just remember, DO NOT WELD A FULL VERTICAL ON A FRAME RAIL.

+1 I just rewelded a muffler hanger back on didn't even thank about disconnecting anything.

When I was making my winch bumper, I didn't disconnect anything either. No problems. I did have a surge protector on the battery when I was welding though....

One of the guys in the shop thought he was going to help me once and did disconnect my battery for me...toasted my alternator. No kidding...it didn't work at all on the way home.
