I have a 1987 Ranger w/2.9. The problem I'm having is all my electrial system is shorting out. What happens, If I leave my batt hooked up, by next moring its dead, I leave it unhooked its alright. When I hook it up in the moring and drive around during the day its fine. Things that has happened, so far it has blown interior lights out, blow head lights out, and sparts at cable when I connect to + side of batt. Things I've done, disconnect interior lights to fuse, disconnect headlights to fuse, check continuity, check voltage from altnator, check ground on body, all seems alright. Anyone know of other reason that I haven't done? its puzzling me. Thanks.....Sam
