OK, I'm new around here, so please, take it easy.
I was wondering, what do I need to do/know in order to install fog lamps for a 95 Ford Ranger. I already bought the Valance with Fog Lamp holes. (Kinda cheap for 11 Bucks). Now, I know I need a Bracket and the fog lamps. Does someone have a picture of the brackets. I want to know what it looks like. I am thinking of searching junk yards, but I first want to see if I can make one.
As for the wiring, I am thinking of buying a wiring kit for fog lamps from A-zone. But I first need to buy the foglamps and brackets (or make them). Any help appreciated.

I took some 1" angle iron, cut a 90* V out of the middle, plasma'd a slot along one half (to position light left to right). Bent it 90* at the cut, bolted the light on, tacked (then welded) the bracket to the frame, positioned light up/down then welded up the V cut to hold the 90* bend and secured the light.
I believe some people have had luck using Explorer brackets or utilizing the bumper support bolt nearest the fog lamp opening.

I did something similar to sniper - made my own brackets from angle and welded them to the frame. Good Luck

I made brackets that bolt to the bumper support. The stock brackets are cast and heavy duty, so if they catch something they won't break or bend they will just bend the entire bumper.

Thanks for all your responses.
Well, I'm not an experienced welder, so any homeade brackets are out of the question.
I have came to three possible solutions.
1. Does someone have some brackets laying around for sale? I would be interested in buying them. ( I guess I will make another post in the other board)
2. Does anyone know of any auto parts store that sells the brackets? (Besides a dealer of course) I have to head back to Certi-fit and ask to see if they carry them. When I bought the Valance the guy told me the fog lamps they sold would clamp into the valance. I did not buy the fog lamps since I had some 4 inch laying around, but apperently, they are too small for the hole.
3. I am thinking, If I don't find a bracket, can I go the lazy way out and drill a hole on the Valance and screw the fog lamps in? . I have a lot of Silicone tubes laying around and I can probably use superglue to put it in place. My only concern is, will the lights shake a lot on the road? I don't off-road, so I assume that making a hole on the top and screwing it in should do the job. The Valance I have seems pretty hard, but then again, it is made in China.
Any suggestions? Remember, welding is out of my league. I am also a "stockish" type of guy, so I am trying to make the truck appear stock as much as possible. A-Zone Fog lamps are out of the question. Thanks in advanced for all of your suggestions.
