where to buy 2.5'' mendrel bent

I am going to install my own aftermarket exhaust on my '04 Ranger Edge. It has the 4.0, and I plan on installing the flow master 40 series original O/C or O/O. Either way I was hoping there was a place where I could buy pre-made 2.5'' mendrel bent pipe and for my truck. I know that gibson and and few others make complete kits, but i'm looking just for the pipe, flange, and hangers. At the very least just some pre-made pipe. Thanks.

draw a diagram of the exhaust system you want to build.Get under the truck and figure out the bends & straight pieces you need (write it down as you measure). Some muffler shops will sell you pre-bent tubing if you have a list of what you need & you don't cause them a hassle. I did dual exhaust for $150. the muffler shops wanted $300. Ask em how much they charge to flare the ends of the tubing so the pieces will slip together (that'll take some of the hassle out of building the system). Wait for replies from the other guys for their ideas.. :icon_hornsup:

I thought about that right after I posted this and its a good idea, but if there is something pre-made thats flared that is already designed I would like to go with that. I really wish that I had my own bender. I have my own torches.... Thanks for the idea.

Exhaust shops do the best job typically, or if you want to do it yourself, Mandrel Bending Solutions has a great selection of stuff and their prices are really reasonable.

i got almost 5 feet of aluminized steel mandrel bent for $90. Along with the muffler, my exhaust cost $190 altogether. call around to local shops, thats all i did :headbang:

You can get bent pieces and straight sections on ebay (forgive me for saying that dirty word) in both aluminized and stainless.
