In my 302 swap, I estimate that the truck will be around 40lbs heavier in the front end than before(avatar-lots of aluminum). Where can I get springs with a little bit more compression ratio? In fact, what is the compression ratio of a stock 92' supercab?

NAPA offeres some heavy duty replacement coils, not sure if they are strong enough tho.

The stock/replacement springs have two options, the 2.3/3.0L spring and the 4.0L spring. I changed coils in my truck (3.0L) to the 4.0L coils (MOOG I believe) in advance for my swap. There is quite a noticeable difference between the two. Depending on what your stock springs are/what motor you had you might find the results you are seeking from a 4.0 spring.

The highest rated spring that moog offers that I can find offhand is Moog part #CC870. They're offered in both explorers and rangers, more precisely, the 93+ Ranger Supercab 4.0 4x4 125wb models. They should be the longest free height, and highest spring rate coil available in an rbv in a stock replacement. If these sag more than you'd like, I would suggest coil spacers in the form of metal washers. They can be had at fastenal if you have one around your area. More info is in the tech library...

btw, the springs have a spring rate of around ~480 lbs/in.

I put a set of 4X4 B3000 springs in my 85. I had explorer springs in there originally but it sat lower than I liked so I switched them.
