Ok guys....as usual, I have a problem...

I attribute my constant run of problems to the fact that I drive an old Ford. But I will deal with these problems one at a time and continue to drive my old Ford because I wouldnt drive anything else!

But here's the latest one.

My back window is leaking. I know the usual deal is remove the interior panels, undo the nuts that hold it in, and gently push the window out....no problem.

Well, thats a lie. Problem. The nuts are seized to the studs in some cases and I cant get them to come out. The studs are just turning in the window molding. Soooooo.....What can I do to get the window out, and if I have to grind the studs off are there replacements available? Or do I have to get a new window?

Oh, I forgot, a new window is NOT an option because then I'd have to get new TRS stickers....and I'm broke. So in that case I think I'd just silicone the piss out of it and put the window back in, and then strap it tight with a piece of plywood while the silicone set.

Whatcha'all think?

Help please!

figured it out.....ended up cutting one nut off with a zip cut, but all the others came after mucho penetrating oil.

Did you check your third brake light? My son has a 99 ranger and he siliconed up his rear window because of leak, and when i finally got a chance to look at it, i noticed his third brake light was loose and water was running down it into the cab, making it look like a back window leak. hope this helps, its easier than a back window removal.
