I am pretty sure this has been posted before. But here goes. When these trucks throw a check light for the intake manifold control valve it is most likely a bad vaccuum line. not the one from the manifold to the solenoid but the one from the solenoid to the vaccuum supply. Ford wants $600 to fix it but if you look in the center of the manifold on the bottom side you will see the vaccuum line and solenoid. its about a 10 minute fix and costs $2 if its just the line and about 150 if its the solenoid. so check those out before going to a dealership. once you replace the line just unplug the battery for about 1/2 an hour and no more code.
