I have a chunk of steel tube that after I cut three sides off it
that I cut a hole in and drilled two holes so I could mount a slave to it while the chunk of steel was clamped in my bench vise.
Above my vise is a shelf and I usually hold the reservoir up with a bungee or a piece of string or wire whatever is handy.
the master is mounted nose up.
and I use a piece of angle stick as a lever to push the rod UP
AFTER I have blocked the port in the dry break open.
I do that with a female half that I couple to it and IT has
a length of clear vinyl tube that runs up and into the reservoir
Just pump the lever until the bubbles stop.
Oh, btw, the "Barp spring" has been removed from the female coupler
so you have to hold them together with your free hand.
The same effect can be accomplished with two people, without
any of the other stuff, but unless you like taking brake fluid showers....
FWIW I keep a spare master, line and reservoir hanging from a hook
on the wall of my garage, it's prebled and I can install it in 15min if
the need arises... I've got another just like it in my "roadtrip spares" box
