I have a guy that lives a town over from me thats parting out a B2 with a Manual tranny and Manual tcase its out of a 90B2 I have a manual tranny in my truck with electric Tcase and he told me to make him a offer on the Tcase how much would you guys say its worth? and how hard are they to swap out?

Try $50 and see what he says.

To swap them, it's the driveshafts, 5 bolts to separate the case from the tranny, the speedo cable, 2 plugs, and the shift boot.

id say offer 100-150 bucks, then go from there, noone wants to offer a high amount first, becase a cheap offer to you might be the right price for them :)

yeah he has the whole truck for sale or will part it out hes asking 5 for the whole truck it runs and drives and all under its own power but will need a clutch soon but i dont have the 5 right now or I will take the whole truck off his hands. But I was going to ask him for aprice if he pulls it and a price if i pull it if i have to pull it hes not gettin no more then like 75 maybe 100 at the absolute most

I wouldn't pay more than $100 for a 1350, and it would have to be in pristine shape. I've had 3 1350s given to me in the past few years...

Since it's a '90, look closely at the transmission.

It may be the rare (and desirable) 2.9 geared M5OD.

If it doesn't have a removable pan similar to an auto trans, it's the M5OD. Also look for trans code "M" on the door sticker.

Grab It!

Honestly, I'd look closely at the whole truck. It may be chock full of goodies like a D35 as well.

And being a '90, if it indeed has the M5OD and D35, a 4.0 is almost a plug and play swap. I think Stegomon did a '90 BII and it was literally a plug it in swap. I know that the fuel lines are a direct plug in 'cause I used '90 BII fuel lines on my 4.0 swap.

If it had all the goodies I'd get the whole truck.

I picked up a M5OD and 1354M combo from a local junkyard for $150, so I'd say $75 or so for a good working Tcase

I sold one for $50 once.
