Ok so I have a 2001 Ford Ranger with a 4.0 6 cyl. engine. I got a volant air intake a year ago. It has been running alright so far but I was talking to a friend who has the same truck with the same intake and was thinking about cutting a hole in the fender well to allow more air flow. Does anybody have this intake and can you tell me if you have done anything additional to improve air flow? Also has anybody cut into the fender well for the intake?
