:icon_confused:ok so i just got the new ipod touch and im not sure how to play it through my factory radio. i have the stock 6 disc that came in the 04 edge. does anyone know what i need to do to play my ipod with my factory stereo? or do i have to buy a new head unit?

thanks for any replies,
sam

Have you Checked out iPod interfaces by PAC-Audio. The interface uPAC-FRD24 will allow you to control your iPod through your radio controls. But it may not charge your iPod.

If you just want an aux input check out the AUX-BOX. You will need to buy a vehicle specific harness also from PAC

I have used many PAC products in customers cars and they have always performed flawlessly.

Your best bet is an aftermarket head unit, alpine, pioneer and kenwood all offer really good replacement headunits and come with ipod hookups to control and listen to your ipod through the headunit

You can buy FM transmitters that plug into your iPod. They allow you to listen to it through a radio station. I have one for mine, but i got a new radio that has an aux in.

i would go with what he said if you want to keep your factory radio:agree:
no reason to change it all when you can do it very easily, i have use kits like that before and they work great
