is it possible to take the gauge off an 80's ranger w/ a tach and plug it into my 85 that does not have a tach to get a working tach? i'm fed up with the stock fuel,temp,oil psi gauges working poorly and would like to get a tach while maintaining the stock appearance. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx in advance.
