Hello,
I am new to TRS. I have owned my 96 B4000 for about 6 years. It's actually my wife's vehicle. We live in New England and she uses the 4WD in the snow. In diagnosing a different issue I accidentally put the truck in reverse while traveling forward at about 10 MPH. I was in 4WD-low. Even though I was on dirt, I broke the left front axle (I hope that's all that I broke).
So I have been searching the internet and ebay. Of course I can find all kinds of axles for the newer trucks that use CV joints, but I can't seem to find a used axle for my truck anywhere. I just need a usable assembly that I can then replace the u-joint and reinstall. I would be willing to pay a reasonable price to get something shipped to me ASAP.
Can anyone help?
