No. Just get the flip brackets from DJM. Unless you are a skilled fabricator/welder, I would not suggest you attempt to relocate the perches.

Besides, the flip brackets are cheap and easy.

Quoted for TRUTH. Welding new perches on is 100% NOT NECESSARY!!!!!!

Its called a "flip kit". Quick search for lowering kits on Summit Racing oughta bring them up in a heartbeat.

As long as you DON"T drive it -- it'll be o.k. IF you drive it that way--:shok:--disaster!!

As mentioned several times so far - you do not :no2: need perches or need to relocate them. This is lowering not lifting. I have had mine flipped for over 2 years now and I used a simple "axle flip kit" from DJM. It is easy to do and the parts are cheap. The kit includes a U shaped bracket that acts as the new perch on the lower side and aligns with the original perch. PLEASE do a bit of research for a flip kit, you can find them on e-bay also. Save yourself some time, money and headache . . .

Here is one from Stillen that includes new u bolts and plates but they are not required. The U shaped brackets are all you really need to do an axle flip . . . Good Luck

So, you DO have to have perches to do it safely--even if u buy a flip kit & use the originalperches to locate the axle properly :icon_hornsup:

the kits looks like a real time-saver......truck looks good!
