Quoted for TRUTH. Welding new perches on is 100% NOT NECESSARY!!!!!!No. Just get the flip brackets from DJM. Unless you are a skilled fabricator/welder, I would not suggest you attempt to relocate the perches.
Besides, the flip brackets are cheap and easy.
As mentioned several times so far - you do not need perches or need to relocate them. This is lowering not lifting. I have had mine flipped for over 2 years now and I used a simple "axle flip kit" from DJM. It is easy to do and the parts are cheap. The kit includes a U shaped bracket that acts as the new perch on the lower side and aligns with the original perch. PLEASE do a bit of research for a flip kit, you can find them on e-bay also. Save yourself some time, money and headache . . .what would happen if i flip it without the perches?
