I have a '96 ford ranger, manual transmission (199,000 miles).
Recently, it's been kinda hard to get into 1st and 2nd gear, especially when truck is cold.
Now, my stick shifter wiggles a LOT when in 3rd gear. And I can barley find 5th gear. It's not where it usually is. I have to push the shifter about 6-8 inches farther to the right before going up into 5th, and I'm lucky if I can hit it. Finding reverse is even worse. Like 5th gear, it seems to be farther to the right, but when I pull back like normal, i don't usually find it.
Someone told me it could be the clutch. Seems odd.
HELP PLEASE!
