FINALLY got my truck back from the paint shop today. Took a little longer than I had hoped, but the results are fantastic! Let me know what you think.

Seeing that made me sad, my truck is in for body work and paint right now, I don't get it back for at least another 3 weeks (thier super busy, and thier workign my truck around thier other accident repairs, while mine was mostly rust repair). Man that looks good. Now you got me thinking about doing something like that.

American Auto Painting in Renton. Guy cut me a great deal too. Did the whole thing including bodywork (the pass side edge was boogered up pretty bad) and blending into the fenders for $425. Not bad considering I had quotes up to $1200.

Did it work with the original grill or did you have to upgrade that as well. I've though about getting one of those, love the one on dad's 2002. Other things have to be finished first, like every thing on the '84.

The grille is a custom job I did by cutting off the center horizontal bar off the original '98 grille. I used a honeycomb insert from an '03 and mounted it behind the '98 grille. But yeah, it's the original grille.

Very nice man! Looks badass!
Glad too see you got that, I remember doing a pretty crummy photoshop version for you a couple'a months ago.
The body on my truck, in the meantime, has gone downhill. lol!
