Hi.... I'm new to this site.. and new to driving 4X4
I just bought an 03 FX4 4x4.... My problem is when I put it in 4 high, it seems to go in ok... but when I take off it feels like it has to much pull down load on it.... I can go like a half block or so and there will be a big thud ( feels like dropping into a big pothole or something )... I always just stop and put it out of 4 wheel drive.....I've only tried it about three times, and it did it every time ( so before I break something I wanted to try and fix it ) I didn't notice any odd noises or anything ..... Also while making a turn the front wheels will sort of grab and squeal on the blacktop.......Hope I don't sound like to much of a dummy, but I really need help because I just don't have a clue.......
