i blew my tranny out on my 1990 ranger 2.3L 4 cylinder and i decided it would be easier to pull the motor and the tranny, i have it half way out but the tranny is stuck on the beam the tranny bolts to. Do i have to remove that beam. Also, the drive shaft will not come off the rear so do i pull the tranny forward and then have then have the drive shaft drop off the rear and then slide the driveshaft out of the tranny? Another thing somebody jerry riged my gear shifter on and i had to cut it off so will about 2 inches of the gearshifter coming out of the tranny effect pulling the tranny out with the motor?
