I seen a truck the other day at a redlight in town, with some lady driving it. It was a 1st gen ranger with a 2nd gen dash, by the looks of the truck i doubt somebody took the time to swap them....

Is it possible somelate 88 models got 89 dashes?

Are you sure it wasn't a second generation with a first generation front clip?

Swapping clips or dashes in those trucks isn't all that involved.
 
Much more likely that someone swapped a gen1 nose onto a gen2 truck

keep in mind Dustin that just because it looks like a pile doesn't mean someone didn't modify it YEARS ago...

I'm just gonna use this as an example of what I'm talking about: Theres an 80s toyota I see at least once a week in my area that has a custom red paint job with silver scallops...it was obviously done when the truck was fairly new because there isn't much left of the body anymore, its hard to even tell it has scallops if you don't know what you're looking for.
