I was wondering if anyone knows if a 2wd ranger bumper will bolt onto a 4wd chassis? I want to mount an 01-05 2wd bumper on my 2008 FX4. I want to do this because I would like to get rid of the lower plastic valance, however the '08 bumpers would kinda look stupid/unfinished if I did this. I like the look of the 01-05 bumpers when the valences are removed because they have a more finished look. Except that on each end of the 01-05 4x4 bumpers there are small plastic caps, the 01-05 2wd bumpers are virtually the same (the top section anyways) and are metal right to the ends and don't have the plastic caps. So, could I mount an 01-05 2wd bumper to my 08 4x4?
