my speedo says 0 at a stand still, but as soon as I start moving, it jumps to 75 mph, does anyone know how to fix this ?

lmao mine jumps like crazy too, and moves in segments like from 40 to 65 all quick, i got a speeding ticket for going 56 in a 35 zone and when i parked my truck and the cop said do you know how fast you were going i said yeah 15mph he looked at me all weird so i showed him my speedo and while i was sitting there it read 15mph! he said oh well thats not my problem and wrote me a ticket anyways fucking dick!

yea that sucks, but mine go's from 0 to 75, and then back to 0 when ever I stop, as soon as I go again, bang 75 !

sounds like an issue inside the speedometer head...id hit the junkyard.

Yea Max mine is doing the same thing. It just started when it turned really cold. I was hoping it would magically fix itself when it got warmer but that was just wishful thinking.
I am going to dig into mine tomorrow morning (weather permiting).
I will post if I figure anything out but I have a bad feeling Wicked might be right.
They don't usually do this with a gear or cable going bad.

I've had some really good Rangers in the past but this one has been a pain in my ass since the day I bought it.

Maximum,
I replaced the speed sensor and that did it for me. It appears to be working correctly now.
I thought I would let you know what worked for me.
