Been taking everything compatible from a 93 Explorer I had and moving it over to a 94 Ranger I just got. I know both of these have the M50D in them, my question is does anyone know for sure if the gearing is the same? I have found conflicting info on the internet and was wondering id anyone knows for sure. I am already swapping the engine since the Explorer had been rebuilt and was considering the tranny because the Explorer one is in better shape. If the gearing is different how big of effect would it really have?
