is the transfer case and suspension and all the same in the v6 89 ranger as the 4 cylinder 89 ranger
 
yes, but the 2wd and 4wd suspensions are nothing alike. its not as simple as just swaping the front axle into the 2wd truck. the front crossmembers are different, which means you need to grind and pound out all the rivets on both trucks and bolt the 4wd crossmember into the 2wd truck.
