Anyone planning on attending the "Hangover" run at The Cliffs? There might actually be snow on the trails this time.

I might even have the Exploder mobile by then! :icon_cheers:

I'm just over an hour away. Now I don't know if I can get my truck ready by then, to much shit to do and not enough time.

Have had one nasty cold the past week kickin my ass, and it's been to frickin cold outside to work on it. Wish I had an empty garage to work in... damnit!

I'll probably just end up goin fishin instead.

Nonsense poopy pants!!

You must be getting old now, fishing or wheeling?

But I guess since its so cold out I don't blame you at all. Hopefully the weather will straighten up so we can even run.

"Poopy pants"??? Damn kids anyway... :annoyed:

I have more fun fishin than wheelin with my kid these days. And if I break a rod or reel, I can sit on my ass in the warm house and fix it! So, yeah, I'm gettin old... :icon_thumby:

Weather might be a factor, looks to probably be sloppy for sure and make some tough going on the trails.

Just messin' with ya, nice sig by the way. I'm sure if you break a rod and reel, it would be much easier on the back pocket!

I need to put my transfer case in tomorrow afternoon, if that happens, I'm about 99% sure I'll be there sometime between 10-11am in New Years.

I can't make any promises I'll have a chance to get my transfer case in though.

I'm out, didn't get the parts I need to be mobile. Will be working off my hangover fishin instead.

Have fun if you guys go, post up some good pics too!

Had a pretty good day out there. My buddy didn't have his Yota buddy done yet, so we took his parts truck out and had a good time. I finally figured out my transfer case gremlin and stayed with a stock length front shaft and it worked great.

Went all morning and a little bit into the afternoon until my tranny stuck in foward. I can move the lever on the side of the trans through all the positions, but it stays locked in Drive. So, either I see if something is plugged up in the valvebody or I say F-it and swap in the 5-speed I have laying out back.

Pics to come soon...

the hills were very challenging because of the frozen mud which was very slick.

Well it was nice to meet you and thanks for the boost!

We finally got it going after we cleaned the plugs up a little bit, she ran pretty good the rest of the day.

That kid had to be cold for sure.

Didn't look like to many vehicles in the lot there...

I ended up on local pond, and got a mess of 7-8" gills and two 11" crappie. :D

Bottom end of this truck is completely gone. He hit this hole so hard it picked the back end up off the ground, and he bent the front crossmember

Yeah, really didn't need the big Brad ass shot... :shok:

Looks like some of those trails really widened out too. I haven't been out there for over a year now.

I've had renewed interest in my Explorer though. Been toying with the sas idea, just has to be done el cheapo. Got lots of time on my hands lately, and I can only sit on the ice so many times catchin gills all day.

Where the hell has Unes been?

It's winter, I'm hibernating. :thefinger:

If the thermometer ever reads above 30°F, I might actually do something. And Brad, I still owe you that transfercase and parts. I'll figure something out.

Did you ever hang yourself? Or do you still have time to slip the noose off your neck and escape!?

I'm just kiddin John, marriage is an institution... and after a short while of being married, you'll realise an actual institution would be preferable!!! :icon_rofl:

You can wheel up there now without being afraid of body damage. Might get a scratch or two though. The truggy is Robb's, same guy who has the 'Yota in the wheeling pics, lives 15 min away from the Cliffs, he helped me build my SAS.

If you need some axles I have a 3.50 geared full-width D44 & 9'' combo, and a mismatched D30 & 8.8 laying around. D30 has a locker in the front.

Couldn't agree with both of you more!
