I'm wanting to put the original size tires back on my 1990 Bronco II. Does anyone know what size tires originally came on it? Any help would be appreciated.

Tire specs from the 1990 Bronco II sales brochure: P205/75Rx15SL, in three types- Black Side Wall (standard); Outline White Letter (option); and OWL all-terrain tires (4WD only). Firestone tires are pictured in the brochure. Should also be a label including the original tire size on the driver door edge, close to the latch.

Yep, dinky little tiny tires.

Depending on exact factory package it could have come with 195/75-15's.
MOST came with 205/75-15's and a few came with 215/75-15's

Read the compliance and safety label on the end of the driver's door.

It SAYS what was factory on that vehicle... presuming it's the original door:)

I'm running 215/70s, but I am trying to look outschool/vintage with it. It does get goopd fuel mileage and the speedo is correct :)

yeah i like the 30" X 9.5, but I have to drive 60 miles one way to work, so i am looking for better gas mileage.

I have the original 205/75/15 tires on mine. With 3.45 gears I get 20+ mpg even with 157K on the 2.9L.

But your right, they do look small.

235/75/15's are about a 29" tire.

235 mm X 2 = 470 mm then divide by 25.4 = 18.5 " then multiply by 75% = 13.85 ". Now add to that the diameter of the rim 15" + 13.85" and that tire should be 28.85" tall.
