So I just bought a set of doors off of a 94. I am going to build a set of half doors to use in the summer. I wanted to run no doors but think half doors would be better. So here are the doors. I am undecided on weather or not I want to run the door handles or what yet but when I get home from school on I am going start the build and figure out what I want to do.

They have been primed in a few spots but thats ok too cause they will be painted. I am thinking of painting them the stock red but not sure yet.

Yup I'm here. Don't post too much but use this site for the tech section a lot!

Yeah, great tech.

I'd like to see the wheel and tire tech from RPS on the TRS tech page though.. good info there as well.

If you haven't already started, be warned that starting in 94, they put a big bar/ piece of metal across the inside of the door for safety/ side impact reasons.

When I did mine, I ditched the door handles, and just put it little rods that can be pulled.

One rod is the latch, just gets pulled up to open the door, and the other is the door lock. I only have the lock there incase somehow the lock level got flipped inside the door, in which case I would have to cut the door open to open it, or get the door off.

The rods are just the rods that were already in the door, just bent into a new shape.

On second thought, you could actually rig the door latch, up to the door lock cylinder, that way you don't have any rods sticking up like I do. Nice and clean.

im working on a pair right now i kept the handles on mine ill get a pic of them when there done if you want
