What is your favorite Modification/ Upgrade???

What is the best money that can be spent on a Ranger??? What was your favorite modification? I am looking to do a little work on a 06 4x4.
 
Favorite mod for what purpose? My personal favorites are my lockers/gears.
 
Any purpose... off road... more power... better looks... whatever floats your boat! I am leaning toward a rear Detroit locker though.
 
rock and tree shaped body modifications, Free most of the time
 
#1 locking differentials
#2 crawl gears (t-case)
#3 lower axle gears
#4 suspension mods/lift
#5 tires
#6 armor (rocksliders, bumpers, etc.)
#7 extra lighting
#8 winch
 
#1 Extra lights cause its so damn dark in the winter.
#2 A good heater cause its so damn cold in the winter.
#3Good winter tires cause its so damn slick in the winter.

#1 for reals would be gears and lockers.
 
Mine in order.
1. V-8 swap(347) with C-6 and Dana 20 T-case.
2.In my case Dana 35& 8.8 with 4:56's& lockers out of a 91 Explorer, someday be swapped out for Dana 60's F/R)
3. Suspension Lift.
4. 35" TSL BOGGERs.
These mods might not fit what you need though, but they are my favorites.....
 
My 97 is pretty much stock. The best investment so far by far has to be manual hubs, and then I'd have to say aggresive 31's. I have a 92 in the drive way with a 6 inch lift i would love to install on mine, that would be the best mod, but lack of work is forcing me to part with it.

its dark for a few month out of the year up there! you are the exception not the rule.....

i prefer any mod that increases my wheeling capabilities without breaking to much collateral damage.

manual hubs,hurst shifter. both have been a dramatic improvement over what my truck came with.
