Has anyone Painted a set of the stock 16" TearDrop 5 Spoke Alum wheels? I don't really like the way they look, plus Everyone has them, but I'd sure like to see what they can look like painted, solid black or partly black. If anyone knows where there's some pics let me know, Thanks.
 
Too bad you're not closer to me. I found a powder coating place that'll do them up almost any way you want them for just $45 a piece ($35 if you've already stripped the clearcoat)

a) Sell me your 2.3Turbo, cheap... LOL.

b) Seriously, do you have any pics of what this powdercoating place can do? If the powdercoat extended all the way to the outermost visible bead/rim, would it get scratched nastily when new tires are mounted?


PS: Always liked the Fuchs wheels that came on 1980s vintage Porsches, with blacked-out spokes, and bright outer rim... not sure how that would look on le' Ranger... but it would solve the scratched-by-tire-tools issue.
