I'm sure there have been a few people do this... I'd like to see their cluster. I want to run 3 3/8 Autometer quad gauges.
 
Its hard to see in those pictures what he did in the area that causes all the awkwardness... it just shows up dark. You've got a flat panel meeting up with the curved trim, creating a gap. see arrow. I'd try to retain the clear plastic, since it is curved, but its got a hole in it for resetting the trip meter, which would just be another unsightly thing I don't know how to deal with.

I wonder if you could form plexiglass to make the curve instead of using the stock clear piece.
