7.5 to 8.8 gear swap

I was wondering is it possible to put the limited slip spider gear set from a 8.8 into a 7.5 the 8.8 is in a jeep and spider gears were replaced for a lunchbox locker so i have a set of gears and need to know if they will go into my 7.5 ranger so i can have limited slip for free since i have the parts

thanks i wasnt sure and not close to my house to check about 200 miles away at college it would be nice though

look for an explorer axle code D4. that will be 3.73 L/S
