i am converting my 89 ranger from an automatic to a manual tranny. I bought a tranny out of a 93 ranger, it is the same as the one for the 89, so my question is what all do i need for the clutch, i know i need a clutch plate, pressure plate, slave cylinder, master cylinder, alignment tool, pilot bearing, and a hydraulic line. Also, the slave cylinder bolts on the tranny over the input shaft, so does it even use a clutch fork or does the bearing on the slave cylinder just push against the pressure plate. The truck currently has a flywheel from the auto tranny, do i need a different flywheel for the manual tranny or are they the same. Please help me, if you have and diagrams that would be great
