Ok, I can't find any help on rebuilding the rear end in my 88 Bronco II and I have found a complete differential out of an 86 Bronco II but now I'm wondering if it will work in the '88. The gearing is the same 3.73 as mine but will there be an issue with the ABS or will there be any other problems? Are there any other rear ends that will work ? Rangers?

You will need an axle with the ABS sensor if you want your ABS to work, yes (Not sure if '86 or '87 was the 1st year ABS was offered).
Outside of the sensor issue, any BII axle will swap with any year BII.

A Ranger axle will not fit properly, the leafspring perches are spaced a tad narrower.

86 was the start of the ABS rear axles.

Pretty sure ABS wasn't till 87, the 86 7.5 in my rig doesn't have the sensor, I don't miss my ABS at all.
