I have a 1994 Ford Ranger 4 wheel drive withan a4ld and automatic shift t case. I was driving down the parkway when i noticed smoke coming from my truck, so i pulled over n noticed a bit of trans fluid dripping out onto the downpipe. the fluid looked to be drippin from thr open space in the botom of the metal gasket between the trans and the engine. so i needed to get to a guys house to pick up new rims and tires for my truck (go figure) n when i pulled into his driveway i felt a huge loss in power to the point where we had to push the truck even when i was like flooring it. I looked under the truck and there was a huge puddle of fluid on the ground. Well i checked the fluid n it was low beond belief. I had to tow it home. i think it might be the torque converter like maybe it cracked and dumped all its fluid? but now i have a big problem i got new rims and tires but a broken truck to put them on thanks for all the help
