body lift question

I just put a 2" body lift in my 93, go to move it and my 5 speed shifter wont go into reverse because it is hitting. IS there an extention I need to get for the shifter or a simple mod so I can make it work?

Yes-

Should be able to track one down through any place that sells body lifts...

Not necessarily.....

I've seen transfercase shifter extensions available, but i've always had to fabricate a tranny shifter extension, or modify the floor plate and move the center console (if so equipped) so the shifter does not interfere with the cup holder.

I loosened the shifter boot from the floor to allow it to work for now. I did a little looking and I did find a simple extension, but for $40.....I will make my own.

2'' lift

was wondering were you got a 2'' body lift i want one but have only seen 3'' body lifts :headbang:

I made it. My buddy got a 2" for his 92, so I copied it. Now I just have to work out the little details. I thought I saw a performance accessories 2" kit.

Performance Accessories and Trailmaster are two manufacturers of 2 in and 3 inch bodylifts that I know of.

I'm sure there are others........
