.... AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got my first Ranger!
The transaction was officially finalized last Friday (sorry for the wait, been a busy boy - suddenly lots of people need my help HAHAHA!). So far nothing has broken so I still love it! LOL!
It's a '97 regular cab flareside, 3.0L auto with a grey gut. No sliding window, no power windows or locks, just a plain jane bit of truck. Much to my surprise it actually has a rear anti-sway bar already installed (I know it's not rare, but I figured i'd have to add it later). High mileage truck (270K kms or about 170K miles), but idles and runs very well.
The truck is quite clean despite not having gobs and gobs of undercoating sprayed underneath. I had been looking at nearly a dozen Rangers in a 2 week time span (thanks honey!) and this single truck was always the best overall "piece of truck". hehehe It's not perfect, by any means, as it's been treated like a truck and not a show piece - the bed has never had a liner and is a bit scratched up along with little paint scratches here and there. I'm not worried though as I wanted something that I wasn't gonna have to baby - i'm not the kinda guy that would feel compelled to wax the box twice when washing in the summer. LOL! I was thorough on checking out the underside and am please that I will not need a jack or stands/ramps to do oil changes.
So yeah, i'm happy and excited to finally have a Ranger! I've actually wanted one for over 8 friggin' years now, but it never happened.
I promise to get some decent pictures up soon. The ones I have right now are less than stellar.
Thanks to all here for the help so far. I appreciate it!
