ok so i have a 98 2wd ranger 2.5 with a manual 5spd im having problems with. when i let the clutch out into first it jerks really hard and makes the truck jump and if you dont give it enough gas it will stall. its impossible to get it into first without it jerking back then ill here a grinding noise at a low rpm that goes away when the truck gains speed but it only happens when its in gear. then the truck will start bouncing if its in 2nd at a low rpm with no gas peddle just rolling. bottom line is the tranny shifts super hard and im hearing a grinding noise i need help do i need a new clutch ? i think my mounts are still good..... or does it sound like somethings broken inside the tranny? it wasnt like this before it just progressively started getting worse and now its bad........any input guys?
