Hello,

I just picked up an extended cab 97 ranger 4.0 for 350 bucks. Im planning on lifting/locking it and taking it in the woods. I've been lurking here for awhile and decided I might as well join

I'll try and post progress pics as soon as I can

Welcome to the site. Hell of a deal indeed. I got the same truck, 97 extended cab with the 4.0. Didn't get it for quite that amount of money though.
 
thanks for the warm welcomes, the guy I bought it off of said it had a blown clutch and wanted 500. I ended up talking him down to 350 and said I'd take it, I didn't think he would go for it but hey, here I am. Its a little scratched up and a dent here or there but for the price you can't beat it and the 4wd works like a charm
 
Blown clutch or not, thats a steal.
