i recently had a accident with my 98 ranger. before that happened the 4wd worked just fine, but now whenever i turn the switch into 4wd high, the light on the dash board comes on but it does not engage for it to work. i put it into 4wd low, the light does not come on. could it be the wiring? the weather here in iowa is getting pretty bad to drive rwd, gotta put sandbags if i cant do anything to fix it. any help would be appreciated thanks..
