im installing a set of sunpro gauges in my 94 ranger 3.0l and i got all my grounds for the background lights ran and grounded, my oil pressure and water temperature probes installed and my voltmeter wires are run out to my battery tray (not yet sure where i want to run them off from yet). what im wondering about is where do i run the positive wires for teh gauge lights to? i was thinking the power wire between the headlight dimmer switch and the instrument panel lights. since i dont quite have the motor in yet i dont have my wiring harness connected so i cant put a battery in and use my test light to find the power wire plus i dont want to go poking holes in all my wires until i find the right one. so does anyone know what color the power wire is that feeds power to the dash lights? i just want to be finished with these gauges so i can move on to fabbing up my auxilary battery tray and then get my wires run for that. then im home free, slap the engine and trans together, slip them in, put my new core support in and then hook up my harness and then pray for power to everything.

. ill have another go at it once i get some more wood for my wood stove, its cold in michigan!
