Ok I have a "94 Mazda B4000 4L auto. I want to know if a auto tranny out of a '95 explorer 4L will work in my truck. If so what all do I need to swap? Thanks

I doubt it. I don't think that 95 exploder trans is an A4LD, a transmission from a 92 - 94 explorer should work.

No the "95 should be the 4r44e. I understand that. And the fact that one from a '91-94 would work is irrelevant. I don't have one from a '91-94.

What BDAB is trying to tell you is that you will NEED one from the earlier Explorers. (or any 90-94 4.0 RBV) The 4r44e is electronically controlled and will not work in place of an a4ld, at least not without alot of wiring modifications........
