90 Ranger 87 2.3t svo intercooled!!

1990 ranger 2.3 dual spark...got the body kit for birthday from razzi... kit was molded and the whole truck was primer gray... the trans blew one day so i bought a 1985 nissan station wagon beater for 300 and sold the 4 banger and trans the truck sat for about 3 years... until i came across an 87 svo2.3t rear end collission 500 miles after the motor was rebuilt with forged eagle piston rods and all seals rings ... more pics and plans later

The plans are to install a twin turbo but the second turbo will be remote mounted under the bed on and electric switch cutout/in so it can be turned on and off. also thanx to the help of Performance Evolution (local tuner w/dyno) the fuel mapping/timming changes, needed to run the twin turbo, switches when i hit the electric cut in switch. i have a small electric oil pump and oil resevoir to feed the twin with steel braided lines. the internal waste gate will be bypassed and an external will be added. im going to have a cat and muffler when the twin is closed off to pass inspection and when the twin is on its 3 inch back and 90 down just below the bumper to sleep it off sorta. im just wondering if i should fab external wastegate for the stock turbo. still have a big list of parts needed but im gonna be werking on cleaning up the body and getting the traction bars welded on... thanx for reading guys this is going to be a long build

They didnt make an svo in 87, Unless it was one of those only built 300 deals. 84-86 and even the 86's are rare.

It has the green 30lb injectors...which came in early 84-85 Svo's...

85 1/2 is the rarest, and most sought after, with production ending with the '86 model year..
