Reverse Light Wire Color

I have a '93 Ranger 4x4 manual. I am trying to locate a wire that is hot when I put it in reverse. Need to know what color, and a location, of the wire that comes from the reverse light bulb (black/pink). In the cab or close by would be ideal.
I have searched here and google without luck. Someone must know.

the closest your going to get to the cab is at the reverse light switch in the side of the transmission. its up high on the drivers side, close to where the shifter goes into the trans. the color is still black/pink.

Can you get to it by removing the plate around the shifter?
 
i guess you could...but itd be a lot easier to just crawl under the truck...its right there in the side of the transmission. the hole in the floor that the shifter does through isnt very big and the edges are sharp. i wouldnt want to try and work through it.

I got to mine where it comes up to a connector mounted on the driverside inner plastic fender under the hood. The wire (circuit) does not enter into the cab anywhere though (I checked).
