So for a 93 Ranger 4x4 Im thinking of going 4" lift and fiberglass fenders. I was thinking I would run 35" tires. But now Im thinking since the longer or extended radius arms give more wheel travel should I stay with 33's? :icon_confused: Dont want to rip off a fender when out on a trail or launching it off an occasional dune.
I plan to do some trails, mud, and sand wheeling, while still driving it to work. So Im looking at the Skyjacker and Superlift lift kits.

My advice, and I'm sure many others will be with me on this one, stick to the Skyjacker kit if you are actually gonna abuse the truck.

Yep go with Skyjacker. Their coils with extended RAs will get you probably the best flex you can have from a kit.

+1 and i would go with the 33's even though the fenders give you alot more room for wheel travel

OK, thanks for the input on which brand of lift to use. But my original question was with the added wheel travel allowed by longer arms do I need to stay with a 33" tire versus a 35" tire with 4" lift and glass fenders?

I see no reason to limit yourself to 33" tires unless you plan on running a 14.5" wide tire. Lots of people have 35" or larger with EX radius arms ( myself incuded very , very soon.)

I wish joel still sold his brackets. then I would use those with skyjacker arms and springs..... with chevy springs out back

skyjacker would be my pick, much better radius arm IMO

35's could "Fit" pretty tight, with bumpstops and hammering out the body seams.and the rite wheels. might have to trim the front bumper too.

33's would fit pretty easy.

I would just stick with 33's. It will still look great and be cheaper, both buying the tires and on gas and even possibly less broken parts. I don't think the added performance of 2" is worth all that.

I was never into real big tires 33's are pushing it for me, I usually stick to 31's or maybe 32's.

33" is a good size for an RBV ....... 33" good size for a LandCruiser too.
