Back tank removal

hello,

I have a dual tank Ranger and the rear fuel tank pump gave out. I dropped the tank and replaced the pump just fine. Although, I cannot reinstall the tank. I can't seem to get the filler neck over the opening on the tank. Any help?

If the filler neck is still attached to the body, I would suggest taking it off and attaching it to the tank...THEN try pushing the tank back in and have someone pull the filler neck into the right place
 
Well I tried that, just can't get the filler hose into the vent hose when I do that.
