My 91 Explorer originally had 2 bucket seats up front.I found an Explorer at the wrecker that had what looked like a bench seat up front but actually had the regular passenger style seat but the driver's side was extra wide and had a console that flipped down. Now I can fit 6 in my Explorer with seat belts if I have to.I have only seen a couple of other ones like that, most seem to have the front buckets.

If it had a front 60/40 seat. If not with that seat, no 8 will not fit comfortably.

My mother-in-law has one. They seat 7. 2 - 3 - 2. Better to put the kids in that 3rd row... it's kinda tight for leg room. They fold down nicely though.
