how would i go about doin a 4.0 swap on my 87 bronco II auto wiht 373 rear gears. i would like to swat to the 4.0 5spd manual and could i use my stock axels
 
yes u ca....the best way is to swap the whole dash from a gen 2 ranger or a gen one sploder...check out the tec page
 
find a 91-94 exp: 4x4 donner, and you got what you need
 
so if i find explorer for sale cheap ill pick it up then i could put the axels from it on the bronco
 
You got it :icon_thumby:. Except when you put the D35 in place of your stock BII D28, you'll have to shorten the front driveshaft about 1". See tech page.

Not if he uses the Explorer BW1354 transfer case.
 
what should i do i have a auto trans now and im goin to have to put in a manual so where should i get the cluch set up and what do i do
